| `{title}`             | deck title                 |
| `{author}`            | deck author                |
| `{date}`              | front matter `date`        |
| `{slide}` / `{total}` | slide number / slide count |

A slide can force or hide the footer with `--- footer=true` / `--- footer=false`; the front matter
`footer: false` disables it for the whole deck.
